About Robin Pippin

I have spent my career in the United Methodist publishing system, retiring from the position of Executive Director of Publishing in December 2019. I completed my certificate in spiritual direction through Haden Institute in early 2020. 

I have led writing workshops and retreats in the US and in several countries in Africa. As an editorial consultant and spiritual director, I accompany authors through their writing and publishing journeys. I also have a special interest in helping people use writing as a spiritual practice, sometimes utilizing writing as a tool in spiritual direction.

I live in Nashville, Tennessee, am married to Tim Pippin, have three young adult children (Rachel, Becca, and Paul), and am the proud grandmother of Solveig and Alf.
